This book features twelve Victorian purse envelopes, symbolizing the twelve months of the year and evoking themes of suppressed secrecy. Each envelope is adorned with celestial events specific to its corresponding month, creating a visual and symbolic link to time's cyclical nature. Inside, a line of poetry and a number invite the reader to unveil the concealed narrative. To read the complete poem and determine the correct sequence of envelopes, the reader must actively engage in assembling the fragmented pieces, mirroring the act of piecing together memory and meaning. At the center lies a sun symbol, signifying the unity of the year. The cover, a self-designed celestial map with dogs racing through clouds and stars, is laser-engraved on paper, intertwining whimsy with cosmological precision to frame the experience of discovery and order.
